As a Greeter, you help set the tone for worship by creating a welcoming first impression and fostering a sense of belonging for everyone who walks through our doors.

Description:

By serving behind the scenes, you help extend our worship service beyond the church walls, allowing people in different places to remain connected with our church family and grow in faith together.

Description:

• Manage and monitor the church audio system during rehearsals and Sunday services, ensuring clear and balanced sound for worship singers, musicians, speakers, and the livestream audience.

 

Commitment (Time):

• Serve approximately once a month (typically every 4 to 6 weeks, depending on volunteer availability)

• Attend the Thursday evening worship rehearsal to prepare and adjust audio levels.

• Arrive 30 minutes before the Sunday service for setup and sound checks.

 

Gifts / Skills:

• Attention to detail and good listening skills.

• Comfortable learning and operating audio equipment and digital soundboards. (Training provided)

• Ability to troubleshoot basic audio issues calmly and efficiently.

• Dependable and able to focus during live services.

• Basic technical aptitude (training provided).

• Team player who works well with worship leaders, musicians, and speakers.

Through your service behind the soundboard, you help create an environment where worship, prayer, and the preaching of God's Word can be heard clearly and experienced without distraction. Your ministry enables both the congregation and online participants to engage more fully in worship.

• Prepare tea and coffee before and after the Sunday service, creating a warm and welcoming space where people can connect, build relationships, and enjoy fellowship as a church community.

 

Commitment: 

• Serve once a month on a Sunday.

Arrive at least 15 minutes early to prepare coffee and tea.
