Our Partners

At Varsity, our desire is to support and build relationships with a small number of faith-based ministries and the communities they serve. The Bible provides the foundation for missions at VBC: preach the Good news, follow Christ’s example (teach, preach, and heal), seek the good of the city, show mercy and justice for the oppressed, and understand that we are sent to the whole world (Matthew 4:23, Matthew 9:36 Jeremiah 29:7, Isaiah 58:6-11, Mark 16:15).

Camp Chestermere

Located just outside Calgary, Camp Chestermere has been a vital part of our community for 60 years, providing a venue for recreational, spiritual and social interaction for kids. VBC has partnered with Camp Chestermere for over 30 years as a supporting church, sending many of our kids, youth, and young adults there to mentor and be mentored and have a fabulous time!

Interact Ministries

Dan and Bev Mayerle serve as field director alongside 23 missionary couples and singles as they disciple and gather among First Nation, Sikhs, and Muslim people across western Canada.

Rick McCallum

VBC is a supporting church of Rick McCallum and the Navigators ministry at the University of Calgary. We desire to help the U of C Navigators pursue their goal to "radically pursue being disciples of Jesus and making disciples for Christ's Kingdom!"

Patners in Deed

Partners In Deed is a faith-based organization whose vision is to facilitate long-term, sustainable partnerships between Canadian communities and disadvantaged global communities. PID was born out of VBC missions and, now, VBC is one of PID's partnering organizations, working through PID to partner with T.E.A.R.S.

The T.E.A.R.S. vision is to build Christ-centered relationships, support discipleship and evangelism, and to train believers in the discovery and development of their gifts, talents and vision for the enhancement of their communities and the advancement of the Kingdom of God.
