In a simple act of faith and humility, why not get onto your knees and talk to God, just like you would to me or anyone near you. God's not into show business, but the broken heart business.

Here's some steps to take in your new journey:

• Admit you are a sinner - not as easy as it sounds;
• Be willing to turn from sin (repent, give it up);
• Believe that Jesus Christ died for you, was buried, and rose from the dead;
• Invite Jesus into your life to be your personal Savior!

Here's a simple prayer:

"Dear God I know I'm a sinner, I know I am not where I want to be, and I want your forgiveness!  I believe that Jesus died on the cross to pay the price for my sins.  Please wash me clean from all sin, shame, and guilt and come into my life to be my Lord and Savior. I ask and receive this in Jesus name, Amen!"

Read John 3:3, John 3:16, John 14:6, Ephesians 2:8&9.
