“The most
strategic mission field is always the next generation.”
A brief update from the
University of Calgary Navigators campus ministry is only a click away..

That's a big reason my family
and I live in Calgary, where we’ve served with the Navigators
at the University of Calgary for 18 years. Our goal is to try to convince
the 30,000 18-25 year olds at University of Calgary to become fully devoted
Christ followers!
My calling to bring the gospel
to university students began when I was a new Christian attending university
myself. I met the Navigators my first day on campus, and despite living and
studying in a higher education setting that was often hostile to
Christianity my faith flourished. After graduating from university I moved
to Calgary to work in the oil and gas industry. I've been working with
the Navigators since 1991.
History tells us that most of
tomorrow’s business, government, and organizational leaders will come from
among students attending university today. Many young people arriving on
campus face loneliness and isolation. Even Christian students are looking
for help as they struggle with temptations that water down their faith. Thus
our mission to students involves building friendships, evangelism,
one-on-one discipling, small group Bible studies, discussion dinners, and
retreats and conferences.

My biggest
motivation is seeing young people become Christians and grow into leaders
who are themselves reaching out to others. You can play a vital part in our
ministry through your prayers and financial support, and with eternal
results.
I invite you to
partner with The Navigators in reaching, discipling and training others to
know Christ and to make Him known.
In Christ,
Rick McCallum
