1. Native Youth Conference is happening again May 19-22, 2011. We would like an opportunity to come with some of our native and non-native young adults to share again this year. (hopefully in both services) We have always appreciated your interest and support for this ministry!

2. Anchored Warriors is a new ministry springing from the need for follow-up for the Native Youth Conference. Four young adults; one non-native and three native have teamed up to do this ministry. Two of them, Kim Kakakaway and Amy Sell are in part-time ministry positions to achieve this. It is a pilot project that was launched in September and we have seen God provide and direct in many confirming ways since the beginning. Their strategy is to target 3 native communities equipping and empowering Christian leaders within these communities to do youth ministry.
On March 26th. they are having a fundraiser to help support this ministry. They will be providing a cultural program as well as presenting the ministry. There will be appetizers as well as native frybread for those that come. They are not selling tickets for this event but there will be an offering to support the ministry.

Varsity Bible Church has been so encouraging to us in the way you have taken one of our members into your midst and made her feel so at home. She still attends my weekly Bible study and speaks with gratitude and affection of your ministry to her. Thank-you! You do so much more than give financially and it means a lot to us!
