VBC Missions Section
August 2—12—Summer Dominican Republic Missions Trip
This August, teachers from Calgary and the TEARS school in the Dominican
Republic worked together for the 4th year in a row. Activities included art
workshops, technology training, sorting school supplies, and taking a road
trip to explore areas in the Dominican social studies curriculum.
Relationships between the teachers and the two schools were deepened, and
plans made to further connect the students this year.
