Do you fit into
any of the following categories at Varsity Bible Church?
- Working in the
nursery,
- Teaching Sunday School,
- Helping out with Summer ministries of any kind,
- Leading youth,
- Helping in the library,
- Leading a band that has youth in it,
- Going on a missions trip to Pender or the DR,
- Helping with hot dog lunches,
- Assisting with homework club...
Sounds like most of us, doesn’t it!
In an
attempt to bring ourselves up to the highest standard of
child care, and in compliance with the requirements of
our insurance company, we will be submitting ourselves
to a rigorous process of screening and training. It
begins with a 2 hour Webinar put on by “Winning Kids”
for our church on Saturday, January 14.
We encourage
everyone to come and take this in. The training is a
mandatory part of the process, so call me if you have
any issues attending.
At that
time, we’ll also do the work of filling out some forms
and we’ll help you catch up on what the process is for
us as a church and for you as its workers.

Things to bring on Saturday January 14th at 8:45am:
1. Alberta
Driver's License or Passport
2. Alberta Health Care Card or Birth Certificate
3. Resume of the last 20 years work experience
4. Three references with their phone numbers
(one of the references MUST be outside the church)
5. A BLUE ink pen, not black, red, or purple ink but
BLUE!
