 Marriage Course
- Our Fall Session
will be held on: September 26th, October 3rd, 17th, 24th, November
7th, 14th and 21st (missing Thanksgiving weekend and Halloween
evening). If you
would like to register for this very popular course, please

The VBC
Marriage Course
The aim of
our Marriage Course is to
enable married couples to build a healthy marriage that will last a
lifetime. We normally run a spring and fall course each
year.
If you are interested in
registering for the Fall Session or would like more information, please
contact Lynn in the office or pick up a Marriage Course Flyer on the
stand in the foyer.
Our evening starts with
dinner served promptly at 5:00pm. We suggest that you arrive between
4:50 - 4:55pm for punch and table selection.
The topics covered in the 7
weeks are:
1. Building Strong
Foundations
2. The Art of Communication
3. Resolving conflict
4. The Power of Forgiveness
5. The Impact of Family - Past and Present
6. Good Sex
7. Love In Action
We have the room set up with tables for two with linen,
crystal, roses and candlelight. We serve a buffet style dinner,
couples have about 35 minutes to enjoy dinner. We serve dessert
during the longer discussion break during the video
sessions and try very hard to finish the
evening by 7:45p.m. for those that do have child care concerns.
Over seven
evenings spent together you will:

find out new
things about each other, and new things about yourself.

have the
opportunity to talk about issues that have been swept under the
rug in the rush of daily life.

discover what
makes their partner feel loved.
-
have the time to
discuss ways you might have caused each other pain and discover how to
heal the hurt.
-
recognize the
sources of pressure on their relationship. Some learn new skills for
communicating and resolving conflict.
