40 Days of Community
“We’re Better Together!”

The 40 Day focus for at
VBC will be “40 Days of Community”. Starting April 15 till May 27,
2007 with the emphasis on “we’re better together”.
-
Small groups are a
priority, as we encourage and build into each other’s lives, and
then, as we reach out and serve together,
-
Addresses the question,
“What in the world are we here for?”,
-
Commitment from
individuals to do the 40 Days of Community book at home
(short daily reading and place for journaling),
-
For everyone to be in a
small group which meets for six weeks in a row to watch the videos
that go with the material,
-
For small groups to
participate in some sort of service project that makes a difference
in the community/city.

Let us remember that God loves us, and He can do the exceeding abundant
in our lives to cleanse us, touch us, and transform us by His grace.

REACHING OUT TOGETHER
Pray that the love we have received from God
will so fill us and give us a vision to “plant people,” to reach out to
those who do not know Him, that we will be compelled to give them
something that will change their lives for eternity. |

God is a God of fellowship and communion, and as a good
Father, He loves to draw His children together...and He has blessed us
with the beauty of diversity. |
